Booking Terms and Conditions

And now for the boring, yet essential, stuff ...

Deposit

A deposit of £30.00 per room per night is required to confirm your booking and is payable by either bank transfer (bank account details will be provided at the time of booking) or by making payment over the phone with a debit/credit card. All major credit cards are accepted, including American Express.

Bookings made within one week of arrival are to be paid for in full at the time of booking.

Check-in

Unless alternative arrangements have been agreed, rooms are available for check-in between 2pm and 6pm on the day of arrival.

Check-out

We ask guests to vacate their rooms by 11am on their day of departure.

Breakfast

Our award-winning breakfasts are served between 8.30am and 9.30am. An earlier or later breakfast time is available on request.

Bank Holidays

There is a minimum two-night stay on a Bank Holiday weekend.

Christmas and New Year

While Victoria House is open throughout the Christmas and New Year period, rooms must be booked from either 24th December (for a minimum of two nights) or 26th December (for a minimum of one night). Continental breakfasts only will be served on Christmas Day and Boxing Day.

Smoking

To ensure the comfort of all guests, Victoria House is non-smoking throughout the property. A surcharge will be applied for any additional cleaning costs incurred as a result of guests smoking in their room.

Cancellation Policy

In the event of cancellation, our refund policy is as follows;

  • more than 28 days prior to the date of your stay, your deposit is fully refundable, subject to a £10 charge to cover administrative costs.
  • between 15 and 28 days prior to the date of your stay, 50% of your deposit will be retained.
  • 14 days or less prior to the date of your stay, your deposit is non-refundable.

Cancellations made on the day of arrival, or early departures, must be paid for in full.
